Made this tonight. Because he’s too saintly.
As I’ve briefly already mentioned, it turns out that – even though I nicknamed him ‘The Saint’ before I got to know him – the guy is actually quite religious. To the point where he’s no longer a feasible crush! I know, serves me right for picking such a ridiculous nickname! Despite the crush no longer being feasible, it appears this hasn’t stopped me making yet another track about him. Hopefully this will be the last one he inspires! I suppose making this track has been my way of getting over him.
Although it’s quite a rough sounding production and mix, I’m happy enough with it to make it downloadable. It’s a fun and wild track, so it’s there should the odd oddball out there want it.
I completed this track in one session – its writing, recording, production, and mixing… Now I’d better get up before I get DVT!
Making this track has lifted my spirits after I was feeling pretty miserable about my musical output yesterday. Admittedly it hasn’t helped me get through the backlog of tracks I still want to complete and share this year, but I hope that having had my spirits lifted by having had fun with this will help me feel encouraged with the challenge of sharing the tracks I still want to share this year.
